Interlight Thinq in Amsterdam apartment buildings
Smart and energy-efficient
For this project, in collaboration with BV Elektra, we implemented a smart and energy-efficient lighting solution for five parking garages serving apartment buildings on Nachtwachtlaan in Amsterdam. We selected Interlight Thinq in combination with waterproof fixtures. The system is designed for an environment where reliable lighting, energy efficiency, and ease of use are key.
Control via sensors
The lighting is controlled automatically by sensors. When someone is present, the fixtures adjust to the desired light level. When no movement is detected, the lighting remains on at 10% brightness. This keeps the space safe and well-lit, while minimizing unnecessary energy consumption.
Based on the calculated energy savings and investment, the payback period is 3.5 years. This solution thus combines a practical improvement to the lighting system with a clear financial justification.
