Description
The Easyfit+ waterproof fixtures are the successor to our first generation of Easyfit waterproof surface-mounted fixtures. We have developed the best features of the first generation into a full-fledged successor with more ease of installation and better efficiency.
The Easyfit+ surface-mounted fixtures are waterproof and fully protected against dust (IP66). The fixture is easy to open with the stainless steel locking clips and can be fitted with locking screws so that the fixture cannot be opened without tools. The fixture is made of PC, polycarbonate. This material is UV resistant, fire retardant and has high impact resistance (IK08).
Thanks to the simple connection terminals, the fixture is quickly connected. The fixture comes standard with conduit wiring 5×2.5mm2 with connectors with plug-in terminals on both sides, so you can easily and quickly connect the power cable. Thereby, a swivel is already mounted on one side. On the other side is a swivel blind plug that can be replaced in seconds with the supplied second swivel.
The fixture is equipped with an Interlight X5 driver which can be set to four positions with dipswitches. The driver defaults to 350 milliamps and can be switched back to 200 milliamps to reduce the lumen output. Thanks to the high-quality chips, the efficiency of this fixture is >140 lumens per watt in the 60cm and even >150 lumens per watt in the 120 and 150cm.
The fixture has an integrated emergency module which can be set in three ways. Thus it can be used as a switchable fixture, as a fixture which is always on or as a fixture which is always off.
The warranty for emergency batteries is 2 years. The technical service life is 4 years, with normal use at temperatures between 0⁰ – 55⁰ C.
An annual endurance test is recommended, after 4 years the battery should be replaced preventively.
Note: Prior to final commissioning, ensure that the connector of the supplied battery is connected to the inverter. After commissioning, a 7-day (one-time) endurance test starts, during which the module light continues to flash.
The fixture comes standard with: two mounting brackets with screws and plugs and two pendant hooks to suspend the fixture from a cable or chain.The fixture is equipped with a PG13.5 gland, it is suitable for a cable diameter up to 12mm.
